Refrigerators

Need to be 100% working, clean inside, with all components (knobs, handles, etc.)

Bath

Bathtubs – no cracks or chips in the finish.

Faucets

Jet tubs – New or like new only

Shower doors – complete with tracks and clean

Vanities

Medicine cabinets

Vanity tops and sinks – free of chips, rust or heavy scratches. No cracks around the drain, no stains or burns

Toilets – complete with stool and tank with lid, no cracks, no chips.

Blinds and Curtain Rods

Blinds – only new ones marked as child safe (no dangling cords)

Curtain rods – need to be complete with ends/finials

Cabinet hardware

Individual cabinet doors and drawers – cannot be painted, unless new

No damage or water damage, must include all doors and drawers

Doors

Residential doors only.

Exterior doors – no rot, holes, excessive dents etc.

Interior doors:

  • Hollow core – unpainted, without cracks, chips or holes
  • Solid-Core or Antique doors – No water damage

Patio doors – in excellent condition, must be complete with frame, no rotting frames

Storm doors – in excellent condition, must include frame and all parts

Flooring

Minimum of 3 complete boxes, not used, unless it is salvaged hardwood and de-nailed

Single full boxes of mosaics or decorative tile accepted

No used carpet, carpet pad, rugs, laminate

Furnaces, A/C units, Window Air Conditioners, Heaters, Fireplaces

Need to be 100% working

A/C units: less than 15 years old and does not use R-22 coolant, should have certified tag that states the unit is properly sealed

Fireplaces: only new or “like new”

Furniture

Accepted Furniture:

De-nailed, clean, must be at least 6’ in length

Must be framed, no sheets of glass

Paints and Stains

Latex only, no oil-based materials. Less than 5 years old

Must be at least 90% full, no rust on cans, never frozen, no hazardous/flammable, no partial cans of spray paint

Pipe, PVC, and Conduit

Needs to be 4 inches or less in diameter, 6 feet in length or longer, nothing commercial

PVC fittings - clean and new only

Shelving

Shelving units and individual shelves

Shingles

Complete bundles, no cut pieces

Wood – must be new
