Mohawk FlexLok tabs join carpet tiles to each other instead of gluing them to the floor. Each 4" x 4" tab sits under the corners where tiles meet, adhesive side up, so the tiles hold together as one floating floor and can be lifted and replaced later.

Key features:

  • Sold by the roll: 50 tabs per roll
  • One roll covers about 200 sq ft of 24" x 24" carpet tile laid in a standard grid (one tab per tile)
  • Brick or ashlar layouts use more tabs: about 1 roll per 115 sq ft
  • No wet adhesive on the subfloor, so there is no cure time and nothing to scrape up later
