Hold The Line is a dark olive-brown carpet tile, densely speckled with near-black and moss-green flecks. Dark and heavily flecked is the combination that hides traffic best, which is why it turns up in offices and basements rather than bedrooms.

  • 24" x 24" tiles, 12 per box, covering 48 sq ft — 100% Eco Solution Q nylon
  • Solution-dyed nylon: the color goes right through the fiber, so it will not fade, and Shaw says it stands up to bleach-based spot cleaners
  • Installs with carpet-tile adhesive, dots or tabs over concrete, plywood or an existing hard floor — no stretching, no tack strip, and it cuts with a utility knife
