An uncapped flue takes in rain, snow, leaves and the occasional bird, and lets embers out over a dry roof. This Shelter cap solves both ends of that for the price of an afternoon: a black powder-coated hood over a galvanized mesh cage, clamped straight onto the flue tile with a screwdriver. It is the large adjustable size, so one cap covers most common tile dimensions.

- Built heavy - 24-gauge galvanized hood with scalloped corners over 18-gauge, 3/4 in expanded mesh on a 14-gauge base
- Black powder-coat finish holds up on a roof and disappears against a dark chimney
- Bolts on with C-clamps and a screwdriver; made in the USA
