The small adjustable Shelter chimney cap covers the flue sizes the big one will not - square tiles down to 8 by 8 inches and round flues at 8, 10 and 12 inches, all from the same cap. Black powder-coated hood, galvanized mesh cage, and it clamps on with a screwdriver. Rain and snow stay out of the flue, birds and leaves stay out of the cage, and sparks stay off the roof.

Key features include:

  • Shelter by HY-C, model SCADJ-SL - the SMALL adjustable size
  • Adjusts to fit outside flue tile 8x8, 9x9, 8x12, 9x13, 12x12 and 13x13 in, plus 8, 10 and 12 in round
  • Hood keeps rain and snow out; the mesh keeps birds, animals and leaves out and arrests sparks
  • 24-gauge galvanized hood with scalloped corners over 18-gauge, 3/4 in expanded mesh on a 14-gauge base
  • Overall 19-1/2 x 19-3/8 x 8-3/8 in and about 7-1/4 lb
  • Black powder-coat finish; bolts on with C-clamps and a screwdriver, made in the USA
